Last night at Verizon Center:

Antawn Jamison was 5-for-9 from 3-point range Tuesday night in the Wizards’ victory over the Bobcats in the first game of this home-and-home series. That left him 79 of 158 (.500) from 3-point range since January. He has no clue why teams aren’t running at him when he is open from the outside.

“I don’t know, but I’m not going to question it.” Jamison said. “In fact, let’s not give anyone ideas.”

— John N. Mitchell

32 Games this season in which Gilbert Arenas (who had 34) scored 30 points. It’s also the same number of games in which Antawn Jamison (who had 20 points and 12 rebounds) finished with a double-double.

The Wizards held the Bobcats to just 11 points in the first quarter on 4-for-27 shooting. The short-handed Bobcats never recovered.
