SEEN AND HEARD

Gilbert Arenas tied Chris Whitney for most 3-pointers in franchise history. Arenas, in his third season with the team, hit his 481st 3-pointer with the Wizards in the first quarter of their 113-104 win over the Bulls.

Whitney, who played for the Wizards from 1995 to 2004, made 481 in 463 games. Arenas reached the total in just 199.

BY THE NUMBERS

12 More free throws made by the Wizards than the Bulls. Washington hit 30 of 35, while the Bulls hit 18 of 28.

KEY TO THE GAME

The Wizards outscored the Bulls by 10 points in the each of the first two quarters for a 60-40 halftime lead.
