Porten Homes is building 122 town homes at Eton Square in Germantown, off Interstate 270 near two shopping centers. The development includes walking paths, parks and tot lots.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick front, siding, professional landscaping, a deck and a two-car garage.

Inside, both models feature three bedrooms; 31/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer, kitchen and powder room; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; crown moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch cabinets and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; ceramic tile flooring in the full baths; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; high-tech wiring; and gas water heating and two-zone gas heat and central air conditioning.

The homes have about 2,200 finished square feet, with base prices from the low $400,000s. Homeowner association fees are $101 per month.

The Barrington model features a lower-level entrance with a closet in the foyer and an adjacent den or third bedroom. This level also has a mudroom/laundry room, an entrance to the garage and an optional bath.

The main level features an open living room and dining room with an adjacent closet and powder room. The back of this level includes an open kitchen and family room with a fireplace and a door to the deck.

The Barrington I plan has a main-level entrance and an above-ground recreation room on the lower level.
