As an unapologetic fan of great-bad music (like these guys, and this movie), I announce with devil-horned pride that I’ll be seeing Tenacious D at the Patriot Center Dec. 3.

I hope the concert’s great, because the trailer for the mock-rock duo’s forthcoming feature film looks shockingly bad.

Could it be that Jack Black had only one great movie role in him — one that was written specifically for him by a former neighbor who was intimately familiar with his brand of humor, down to the patois and physical mannerisms?
