I bounced back last week with a solid 11-3 record by relying on home favorites and they delivered. My three upset picks — Redskins, Jets and Cardinals — weren’t able to deliver.

The Fab Five

Here’s the five games I’m picking against Jim Ducibella of the Virginian-Pilot:

Redskins 31, Tennessee 13: The Titans can’t stop the run and the Redskins’ most important offensive player is a running back — expect a heavy dose of Clinton Portis.

Duce: Redskins 27, Titans 17

Philadelphia 17, New Orleans 10: The Eagles could be primed for a letdown following big win vs. Dallas, but McNabb will find a way.

Duce: Saints 23-17

Dallas 40, Houston 10: Another week of drama in Big D with T.O. complaining about his touches. But he’ll get his work against the Texans.

Duce: Cowboys 34-17

Atlanta 27, NY Giants 14: This game is why the Giants needed to beat the Redskins. They drop to 2-3 with a loss to the Vicks.

Duce: Giants 20-17

Toilet Bowl Game of the Week — Buffalo 10-6: The Bills are unpredictable (up and down). The Lions aren’t (always down).

Duce: Detroit 17-16 (Obviously, Duce has a thing with the ‘17’ this week).

The rest of the schedule

Seattle 34, St. Louis 30: The Rams are a surprising 4-1 and the Seahawks won’t have Shaun Alexander. But Seattle remains the NFC West’s best.

Carolina 20, Baltimore 9: The Ravens’ flaw remains — they can’t move the ball offensively. Giving up 13 points at Denver meant the Ravens had no chance. The Panthers move to 4-2 after an 0-2 start.

Tampa Bay 14, Cincinnati 13: The Bucs are due for some good fortune after an 0-4 start.

NY Jets 33, Miami 29: Remember when Miami was considered a playoff contender? The bloom is off that rose and Joey Harrington is the team’s starting quarterback.

Pittsburgh 21, KC 11: The Steelers are 1-3 so they need to get cranking on some wins and it starts against a Chiefs team that nowhere near as good as their 2-2 record.

San Diego 37, San Francisco 21: Gotta admit, it’s going to be tough for even Marty to screw up the Chargers because Rivers is good, Gates is good, LT is good and the defense is good.

Denver 42, Oakland 3: The Raiders might go 0-16.

Chicago 54, Arizona 29: The Bears won’t go 16-0, folks — they’ll lose during a three-game road stretch to the Giants, Jets and Patriots. But Chicago has been impressive.

Record: Last week 11-3 (49-31 season).
