Left-wing flame thrower Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, known for his “Daily Kos” web log, has said “Hasta la vista” to Google News:

I voluntarily asked for Daily Kos to be removed from Google News since it was returning results from this site that quite frankly weren’t up to the sort of standards I expect out of a service offering up credible news.

I wonder if Mr. Zuniga means that non-Trotskyite blogs and news were included in the Google News search results and that he and his readers were being exposed to — gasp! — contrary opinions and/or facts that rebut their favorite arguments.

Or am I reading too much into this?

(Hat tip to C-Net’s Elinor Mills for her note alerting me to Mr. Zuniga’s decision.)
