Buyers interested in hiking and biking will find they have plenty in common with those who prefer movies, theater and dining out: Both lifestyles are accommodated with ease at the Brittany in Arlington, a condominium converted from apartments near Shirlington Village.

Those who love to bicycle or run outdoors will appreciate the Brittany’s proximity to the Washington & Old Dominion Railroad Regional Park trail.

The development also includes two private lighted tennis courts, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center with an indoor running track.

For residents more interested in socializing, the Brittany offers a clubroom and pub room with billiards, and it’s located near movies, shops, restaurants and the anticipated new Signature Theatre performing arts center.

The Brittany’s other amenities include a fully equipped media room and conference room, enclosed garage parking and a location (4500 S. Four Mile Run Drive) that offers easy access to Washington via Interstate 395.

Each renovated home includes controlled-access entrance, a remodeled kitchen, a full-size washer and dryer, walk-in closets, a separate dining room, a separate den, and two walk-in closets. Some are available with balconies. Buyers can upgrade to hardwood flooring.

The one-bedroom homes, priced from $275,900 to $310,900, have 856 square feet. The two-bedroom homes, priced from $335,900 to $477,900, have 1,034 to 1,448 square feet. Monthly condominium fees are $294 for the one-bedroom homes and range from $350 to $446 for the two-bedroom homes.
