Here are some places to find them this season:

• Alexandria Ghost and Graveyard Tour. The one-hour, six-block walking tour, which ends in a graveyard, will be given at 7:30 and 9 p.m. tonight, tomorrow and Tuesday. Tours will continue through Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday and also at 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Tours will leave from the Ramsay House visitors center, 221 King St., through Tuesday and on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays through Nov. 12. They will leave from Burke & Herbert Bank, at the southeastern corner of King and Fairfax streets, on Fridays and Saturdays through Nov. 11. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 7 to 12 and free for children age 6 and younger. Reservations are recommended, as the tours are very popular. Call 703/519-1749.

• Ghost Story Tour of Washington. Organized Ghost Story Tours have ended for the season, but Natalie Zanin will take ghost hunters on a special tour by appointment. The tour will feature a visit to the highly haunted Lafayette Square and other ghostly spots. Call 301/588-9255 or visit www.historicstrolls.com for more information.
