Redskins quarterback Mark Brunell was a spectator today at practice because of a left elbow (throwing arm) injury sustained against Houston. Brunell’s arm was heavily wrapped during the lunch hour and he said he was “day to day.”

Team drills had not begun when the media was kicked out of practice so it wasn’t clear who was taking the bulk of first-team snaps, Todd Collins or Jason Campbell. If Joe Gibbs’ plan before the season holds up, Campbell would be the one practicing with the first team today.
