The Redskins returned to practice today, starting preparations for Monday’s opener against Minnesota. The only players not practicing were Shawn Springs and Clinton Portis.

Earlier this week, Springs ruled himself out; Portis hasn’t talked all week and wasn’t in pads today. He did catch passes from the team’s quarterbacks.

Defensive end Renaldo Wynn returned to practice for the first time since getting injured against New England.
