1. Offensive line — The players in the backfield and the coaches admitted there were miscommunications and missed assignments in the line last week. And Northeastern simply was the warmup — from here on out, the baby-faced linemen will have to play full-sized Division I-A defenses.

2. Chapel Hill— Kenan Stadium may not be the most intimidating place to play, but 26 players have never played a college game outside of Blacksburg.

3. Sean Glennon— Last week he made a good supporting case for the coaches’ decision to name him the starter, but as he observed afterward, ACC play is an enormous change from Northeastern. A shaky performance could start fans grumbling for a better look at redshirt freshman Ike Whitaker.
