The Rover’s Final Four experience almost wasn’t yesterday. Because of an NCAA mix-up, the Rover’s pass had a strange little postscript on it that almost sentenced him to the auxiliary press box, which in a cavernous building like the Georgia Dome is barely still in the state. After some tense moments exchanging vows with an NCAA official, the Rover was issued a new pass and cleared to sit in actual viewing range of the game approximately eight minutes before tipoff.

The Rover is eager for the opportunity to make his egress to the South, where the emerald beauty of Augusta National and an event that doesn’t rely on officiating await.
