Jazz Appreciation Month is upon us, which makes it the ideal time for the Library of Congress to host a Jazz in the Spring film series, tonight through April 30. This evening’s selection is “Cecil Taylor: All The Notes,” Christopher Felver’s 2003 documentary about the famous free jazz innovator. Other films to be presented include “Keith Jarrett: The Art of Improvisation” and “Irene Schweizer.” Screenings are free and begin at 7 p.m. at the Library of Congress’ Mary Pickford Theater (Third floor, James Madison Building, First Street and Independence Avenue Southeast.
