Last night at Verizon Center

It seems everyone has a comment on the abhorrent comments of radio talk show host Don Imus about the Rutgers women’s basketball team.

Not to be outdone, Wizards center Etan Thomas joined the ranks of those calling for Imus’ resignation in the wake of his racially charged comments about the team.

“I agree with Rev. Al Sharpton that Don Imus should be fired,” Thomas wrote in a column for Slam Magazine. “It’s not enough for MSNBC to simply distance themselves from his comments and say that his views are not those of MSNBC.”

The Wizards’ home game against the Chicago Bulls has been changed from 3:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are still available.
