Steuart-Kret Homes is building 292 single-family houses on one-third-acre to half-acre homesites at Agricopia in La Plata, a community with a 13-acre park, a pond, nature trails, a multipurpose field and a playground.

Each home in this Charles County community will include vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all six models feature four bedrooms; 21/2 or 31/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer; crown and chair-rail moldings; upgraded cabinets and appliances and Corian counters in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; a structured wiring package; and two-zone heating and air conditioning.

The homes have 2,634 to 5,667 finished square feet, with base prices from $552,900 to $620,900. Homeowner association fees are $300 annually.

The Augusta model, with 3,306 to 4,935 square feet, is priced from $578,900. This home features a two-story foyer with an opening into the formal living room, which has windows on two sides. The first-floor study is on the opposite side of the foyer. The formal dining room opens to both the living room and the hall.

At the back of the home is a family room with windows on two sides that also is open to the breakfast area and center-island kitchen. This level also has a laundry room and a powder room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room, two walk-in closets and a bath.

The second bedroom has a private full bath and a walk-in closet. The third and fourth bedrooms share a connecting full bath with two vanities.
