David Rakoff knows where laughter lives. During his years as a print writer and a contributor to Public Radio International’s “This American Life,” he ventured into dozens of humor-ready topics, armed with a wit that put him on par with such contemporaries as Dave Barry or David Sedaris. Tonight at 7:30, Mr. Rakoff will speak and sign copies of his latest book, “Don’t Get Too Comfortable,” at the McLean Community Center’s Alden Theatre (1234 Ingleside Ave., McLean). Admission is free. Call 703/790-0123 or visit www.mcleancenter.org.or www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library.
