This week at the Prince George’s County Publick Playhouse (5445 Landover Road, Cheverly), Dallas Black Dance Theatre proves that movement isn’t just something you watch; it’s something to learn, do and discuss. Today and tomorrow, the modern dance troupe offers lecture-demonstrations at 10:15 a.m. and noon in which it will divulge what it takes to become a company member, present excerpts of works and lead hands-on activities. Later, at 6 and 7:30 p.m., liturgical dance master classes will be featured. The activities will culminate in an 8 p.m. performance on Saturday. Call 301/277-1710 or visit www.pgparks.com.
