Tampa Bay coach Jon Gruden is crying right now.

Detroit has taken Georgia Tech WR Calvin Johnson with the second pick, the fourth time this decade that the Lions have taken a receiver in the top 10 picks.

The Lions took Johnson instead of DE Gaines Adams (who they had a bigger need for), QB Brady QUinn (who they had a bigger need for) and LT Joe Thomas (who they had a bigger need for).

Johnson has all the makings of a star in the league but Detroit has so many other issues, I would have made a bigger effort to trade down (to Tampa Bay at No. 4 perhaps).
