Prisoner of love?

A police report filed against flamboyant Culture Club frontman Boy George has given new meaning to his 1980s hit “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?”

The former pop star, 45, was arrested Saturday after he reportedly imprisoned a man said to be working as a male escort and chained the man in his East London home, AZCentral.com reports.

According to news reports, Auden Carlsen fled the singer’s home in terror, claiming Boy George (real name George O’Dowd) and another man had grabbed him and chained him to a wall.

“I walked into the bedroom wearing my white underpants and a T-shirt, and then I was jumped on by another man, ” said Mr. Carlsen, who denied reports he was working as a male escort. “George handcuffed me to a hook by the bed as they held me down.” Mr. Carlsen claims the other man left the room before Boy George produced a box of sex toys and told him, “Now you’ll get what you deserve.”

Mr. Carlsen — a 28-year-old Norwegian who said he met Boy George on the homosexual dating Web site Gaydar — said he pulled the hook from the wall and fled in his underpants before phoning the police on Saturday morning. Boy George was arrested later and taken to a police station. He was released pending a probe by detectives investigating assault and false imprisonment claims.

Last year, the singer, who was unavailable for comment, was ordered to do community service in New York after a sizable amount of cocaine was found in his apartment.

Jolie’s worst day

“It became the worst acting day of my life — and really, the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” Miss Jolie, 31, tells Glamour magazine in its June issue.

Directed by Michael Winterbottom, the film is based on Mrs. Pearl’s account of her husband’s abduction and murder in Pakistan in 2002. The movie will be shown at the Cannes Film Festival which begins May 16.
