The Christopher Cos. will build 24 single-family houses on one-fifth-acre homesites at Chandler Grove in Fairfax, where most of the homes will surround a central park.

Each home in this Fairfax County community will include a brick water table on four sides, beaded vinyl siding, a post lamp, rear yard fencing and a rear-entry two-car garage.

Inside, both models feature four bedrooms; 31/2 baths; a finished recreation room; hardwood flooring in the foyer, hall, kitchen and breakfast area; hardwood stairs; 9-foot ceilings on the main and upper level; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace with a marble surround; 42-inch oak cabinets, Corian counters, a desk, a pantry and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; a structured wiring package; two-zone heating and cooling; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have about 3,000 to 3,200 finished square feet, with base prices from $799,000. Homeowner association fees are $390 per quarter.

The Parkland model, with 3,200 square feet, is priced from $799,000. This home features a recreation room on the lower level and a front porch leading into the foyer on the main level. This level has a living room or optional library, a dining room with columns, a butler’s pantry and a powder room.

The center-island kitchen has a walk-in pantry and desk, is open to the family room and has an adjacent breakfast room and a door to the garage.

Upstairs, the master suite has a tray ceiling, a separate sitting room, three walk-in closets and a bath.
