Whether you proudly display the “Garden State” soundtrack on your living room shelf or publicly berate those who didn’t discover groups like the Shins until Zach Braff did, there’s no denying his taste in good music. Another artist Mr. Braff has supported is Joshua Radin, a Cleveland-born singer-songwriter whose 2006 major-label debut, “We Were Here,” earned four stars from Rolling Stone and whose songs have snuck into films and TV shows — including “Grey’s Anatomy” — with increasing regularity. Mr. Radin, whose voice has often been compared to Simon & Garfunkel, performs tonight at 8 at Vienna’s Jammin’ Java (227 Maple Ave. E). Tickets are $10 and are available at the door, through www.jamminjava.com or by calling 703/255-1566, Ext. 8.
