Last night at The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, Mich.:

SEEN AND HEARD

Sounds like all that talk coming from the front office about the Wizards building for a championship run has trickled down to the players.

Caron Butler says he’s not thinking about being named as an Eastern Conference reserve next week as much as he’s concerned about the Wizards playing well following the break and then doing some damage in the playoffs.

“All we’ve been talking about is winning a championship, and we don’t want to sell ourselves short,” Butler said. “We feel we can match-up with anybody. We’re not going to be satisfied with just making the playoffs, so don’t expect us to be jumping around and hollering and screaming when the regular season ends.”

BY THE NUMBERS

7Turnovers committed by the Wizards — a season low.
