Art by the people and for the people is the name of the game at Ellipse Art Center’s current exhibition, “Photo 07: Photographs You Have Taken in the Last 75 Years.” The juried show (which opened last week and runs through March 10) features images by photographers “who live, work or have a studio” in Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia or the District. The gallery (at 4350 Wilson Blvd., Arlington) is open Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. An opening reception for the show takes place tomorrow evening at 6. On Feb. 8, exhibit juror Frank Day will speak about his selections. Details are available by calling 703/228-7710 or visiting on line at www.arlingtonarts.org/ellipseartscenter.htm.
