OK, so maybe this winter has been unseasonably mild until now. But shivering isn’t required to enjoy Cultural Tourism DC’s Warm up to a Museum. The group , a nonprofit arts hub of 185 member groups, has devised the Museum’s programs around various themes that begin today and continue through month’s end. Activities include lectures on the Italian Renaissance at the National Gallery of Art (Fourth Street and Constitution Avenue Northwest), Valentine’s Day ruminations on red textiles at the Textile Museum (2320 S St. NW) and “red hot opera arias” at the National City Christian Church (5 Thomas Circle NW).
