Last night at Comcast Center:

BY THE NUMBERS

14 Turnovers Maryland forced in the first half. Iona already had 11 miscues by the under-12-minute timeout, and struggled to establish its offense because of its inability to take care of the ball.

4 Combined fouls for Maryland forwards Ekene Ibekwe and James Gist in the first 5:46. Both went to the bench for extended stretches before returning, but their absences didn’t prevent Maryland from maintaining a double-digit lead established in the opening five minutes.
