Stanley Martin Homebuilding LLC is building 73 town houses at Fair Oaks Landing in Fairfax, close to shopping centers with restaurants and entertainment.

The builder is offering $10,000 in closing-cost credit to buyers using the preferred lender.

Each home in this Fairfax County community will include a brick-and-Hardiplank exterior, a brick stoop and front walk, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all three models feature three bedrooms; two full baths and one or two half baths; oak stairs; hardwood flooring in the foyer, kitchen and morning room; 9-foot ceilings on the main and lower levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch oak cabinets and granite counters in the kitchen; a master bath with a tub and separate shower; ceramic tile flooring in all baths; a structured wiring package; and two-zone gas heat and electric air conditioning.

The homes have 2,469 to 2,628 finished square feet, with base prices from $543,990 to $586,990. Homeowner association fees are $100 per month.

The Cambridge II model, with 2,469 square feet, is priced from $586,990. This end-unit home features a two-story foyer with curving stairs to the upper and lower levels. The open living-and-dining room has a glass door to a balcony.

The kitchen includes a wall oven and separate cooktop, a pantry, a breakfast bar and an adjacent breakfast room. The family room has a corner fireplace and windows on two sides, with a nearby powder room.
