Today’s game

CONNECTICUT (17-12, 6-9 Big East) AT NO. 12 GEORGETOWN (22-6, 12-3)

When: Noon, Verizon Center

TV/Radio: Chs. 9, 13. AM-980

Outlook: In what could very likely be Jeff Green’s last home game, the Hoyas are trying to snap a decade-long losing streak against the Huskies and clinch the top seed in next week’s Big East tournament. On the flip side, the young Huskies have little left to play for after a disappointing campaign. Connecticut is an extremely poor offensive team. The team’s top scorer, freshman Jerome Dyson (13.8 points), is a streaky 3-point shooter (33.9 percent). The Huskies do defend well, however, and are the league’s best rebounding team.
