Francophonie has rolled into the District like a lion, armed with another cache of cultural events focusing on the French-speaking world. With contributions from 10 nations, that’s one diverse group, and it will be showcased through an eclectic batch of concerts, films and more through month’s end. Highlights include the Grande Fete de la Francophonie March 23 at La Maison Francaise — where 30 embassies will share in the celebration — and two shows by smooth Cameroonian operators Les Nubians March 29 and 30 at the National Museum of Natural History. The Czech film “Holiday Makers” screens tonight at 7 at the Freer Gallery. For details, visit www.francophoniedc.org.
