Word up

Writer/performers Steve Connell and Sekou (tha misfit) have long played a part in this mighty weather system, and have blown into town to perform “The Word Begins,” a world premiere work that plays at the Signature Theatre (4200 Campbell Ave., Arlington) tonight through Dec. 2. 703/820-9771. www.signature-theatre.org.
