Plays presented by Washington-area theaters in the past few months seem to reflect a passion for the African continent: “My Children, My Africa,” “The Unmentionables” and now “Truth in Translation,” running through Saturday at the Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H St. NE). This latest work is based on the experience of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, with music by trumpeter Hugh Masekela.Call 202/399-7993 or visit www.atlasarts.org.
