Seen & heard

It wouldn’t be a game at FedEx Field without the presence of the two guys on Landover Road who hawk … parking passes. Be it green, purple or orange, this probably is the only stadium in the league that has this feature. Rumor is the guys were asking $40 to $50 for the passes, which would represent a small profit (the green passes cost $35).

• Note to self: Stop guessing about injuries. On Thursday, it seemed like Santana Moss had no chance of playing against Detroit. He wasn’t running routes, wasn’t doing any football-related.

Flash to yesterday morning. Moss took the field at 10:50 a.m. and started with light running and finished with several minutes of running routes. It looked like he had a bounce to his step and definitely would be available.

Well, an hour later, the inactive list was released, and Moss was ruled out.

• Our first jersey rundown of the season: Antwan Randle El, Chris Cooley, Moss, Clinton Portis, LaRon Landry, Mike Sellers, Sean Taylor and Marcus Washington were among the current players. Joe Theismann, John Riggins, Dave Butz, Darrell Green, Stephen Davis, Champ Bailey, Gary Clark, Dexter Manley, Sonny Jurgensen, Michael Westbrook, Bruce Smith, Deion Sanders, Lavar Arrington and, believe it or not, Tre Johnson were the former players.
