You know a movie’s good when, despite the fact that it’s about a typeface we encounter every day, people are clamoring for seats at screenings. It seems this mad rush also may occur at tonight’s 7 p.m. showing of “Helvetica” at the Corcoran Gallery of Art (500 17th St. NW). After the documentary screens, director Gary Hustwit and other designers will lead a discussion. $10 members, $12 public. 202/639-1700. www.corcoran.org.
