SEEN AND HEARD AT RFK STADIUM

Even in its final days of use, RFK Stadium is still getting new additions.

Yesterday, fans might have noticed a stair in Section 533 that suddenly has been painted red. The significance? That’s where Ryan Zimmerman’s Aug. 4 home run landed, the only ball to reach the 500 level since baseball returned in 2005.

Zimmerman’s blast forever will be noted along with the three white seats signifying Frank Howard’s upper deck homers … er, at least until RFK is imploded.
