SEEN AND HEARD AT RFK STADIUM

It’s common for players to spend the time right before batting practice relaxing on the clubhouse couches and watching television. The Phillies‘ program of choice: highlights of Kirk Gibson’s famous game-winning home run in Game 1 of the 1988 World Series.

No word whether the team planned to screen highlights of Joe Carter or the 1993 Series.

BY THE NUMBERS
