Ed Rogers (.333) hit a two-run homer in the Clippers’ road loss.

Trenton 4, Harrisburg 0:

Michael Daniel (.348) went 2-for-5, but the visiting Senators were held to five hits by two pitchers for the Thunder.

Potomac 8, Kinston 7 (11):

Chris Marrero (.250) went 2-for-5 with the game-winning single with two outs in the bottom of the 11th for the Nationals. Ross Detwiler (3.86) allowed four runs in 41/3 innings.

Hagerstown 2-8, Lake County 0-0

The Suns pitched a pair of seven-inning shutouts in a doubleheader sweep at home. In the first game, Colton Willems (1-0, 3.27) allowed three hits in six innings and Martin Beno (10.13) one hit in one inning for his first save. In game two, Cole Kimball (1-0, 0.90) pitched five innings before Terrence Engles (5.40) and Edulin Abreu (4.50) each threw one.
