Haverford Homes Inc. is building 47 single-family homes on 1- and 2-acre homesites at St. James in Accokeek, near the Tantallon Country Club and Potomac Ridge Golf Club.

The builder is offering $30,000 in down payment or extra closing cost assistance or to pay off consumer debt in addition to $25,000 in closing costs and $20,000 in options.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will have a brick front and stoop, a sprinkler system, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all five models feature four bedrooms; two or three full baths and one half-bath; hardwood flooring in the foyer, hall and kitchen; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; a sunroom with ceramic tile flooring; granite counters and upgraded appliances in the center-island kitchen; a master bath with ceramic tile flooring, a tub and separate shower; high-tech wiring and a security system.

The homes have 3,628 to 4,650 finished square feet, with base prices from $699,425 to $899,425. Homeowner association fees are $500 per year.

The St. Albans model, with 4,650 square feet, is priced from $829,425. This home has a two-story foyer leading into a two-story rotunda, a box bay window in the living room, a formal dining room, a butler’s pantry, a powder room and a corner office.

At the back of the home are an open kitchen, breakfast area and family room. Nearby are a laundry room, a second staircase and a family/garage entrance.

The master suite has a sitting room, columns, two walk-in closets and a bath.
