How did you get started in real estate? My brother recruited me to work for his company.

How long with the current company? Eight years

Licenses and designations: Real estate sales in Virginia and Maryland, certified residential specialist, accredited buyer’s representative

Associations: Northern Virginia Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, Virginia Association of Realtors, Council of Residential Specialists, Real Estate Buyer’s Council, Asian Real Estate Association of America-DC Metro Chapter

Awards: NVAR top producer, multimillion-dollar sales club

Greatest accomplishment in the past 12 months: Gave birth to my son, Luke Vinh

What is your area of specialty? Fairfax and Arlington counties

Highest-priced home sold: $1,500,000

Most memorable house: Poplar Terrace, a fabulous development of four contemporary, “green” homes in Falls Church. I love that the architects were forward-thinking enough that they took a chance on introducing something so unique and new to our area to the delight of many urbanites, trendsetters and the environmentally conscious.

Worst experience: The worst experience would have to be a couple years ago when I was “attacked” by spider crickets in the basement of a vacant house. While trying to get away from me, their frantic movements landed them on my legs. My screaming probably didn’t help.

Age: 34

Family: Husband, Brandon; daughter, Madison; son, Luke

Pets: Chihuahua, Kahlua; miniature pinscher, Bailey

Education: Bachelor of science in psychology, University of Mary Washington, 1996

Community service/outside interests: Co-chairman, NVAR Community Outreach Co-Chair; co-chairman, NVAR Vietnamese Realtor Forum; two book clubs

Last book read: “A Thousand Splendid Suns,” by Khaled Hosseini

Last movie seen: “Finding Nemo.” It was my daughter’s choice.

What kind of cars do you drive? 2005 Volvo X90; 2007 Honda Odyssey

What is your personal dream house? My dream house is on a beach or lake with floor-to-ceiling windows, open floor plan, many rooms to entertain family and friends, huge luxury kitchen and baths, and a beautiful view.
