Regarding the Sunday Commentary column “Ahmadinejad foes need a shield,” I want to thank the editor who paid attention to this important issue, in which the lives of about 4,000 Iranian dissidents are in danger.

As I have members of my family residing in Camp Ashraf in Iraq’s Diyala province, I am seriously concerned about the security of the People’s Mujaheedin of Iran. If the security will be handed over from the coalition forces to the Iraqi government, it will be easy for the mullahs in Iran to take over their control and eliminate all those freedom-loving Iranians who have struggled for freedom for more than 20 years.

It is the task of the multinational forces and human rights organizations to stop this human catastrophe.
