— The Nationals’ game with the Rockies was called off on Wednesday night after rain postponed the start of it by nearly two hours.

On Thursday, Jason Bergmann will face Jeff Francis in the first game (scheduled for 3:05 EDT) and Odalis Perez matches up with Ubaldo Jimenez in the second game, which will begin 25 minutes after the first one ends.

The teams have split the first two games of the series.

Looking down the road, the rainout means Odalis Perez will probably have to come back on short rest next week. Either that, or Garrett Mock will make a spot start.
