Wormald Cos. is building 18 luxurious, riverfront single-family homes on homesites from 4,461 to 8,500 square feet at River View Estates on Mill Island at Worman’s Mill in Frederick, close to historic Frederick, golf courses and ski resorts.

This planned community includes tennis courts, basketball courts, a putting green, swimming pools, walking paths and a clubhouse with a library, theater room, crafts room, exercise room and clubs. Plans call for a village square with shops and restaurants.

Each home in this Frederick County community will include a brick, stone and stucco exterior; a brick-paved circular drive with a stone retaining wall and a three-car garage.

Inside, each model features four bedrooms; 4 1/2 baths; a curved oak stairway, archways, hardwood floors in most rooms, 9- and 10-foot ceilings on all three levels; moldings; a gas fireplace; transom windows above the cabinets, upgraded appliances and granite counters in the center-island kitchen; ceramic tile floors in the baths; and a luxury master bath with a claw-foot soaking tub and a walk-through separate shower.

The Le Beaux model has about 4,461 finished square feet and a base price of $1,100,000. Homeowner association fees are $174 per month and include landscaping services.

Rooms on the main level include a library with a curved wall, a formal dining room and a butler’s pantry. The first-floor master suite has two walk-in closets and a luxury bath. Upstairs are three more bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet and private full bath.
