For shame! For The Washington Times to publish pictures of young American men who lost their legs in an illegal war predicated on a lie walking alongside the man responsible for their wounds is outrageous (“Bush, Cheney comforted troops privately, Page 1, Monday).

How noble, how kind - we are told that both President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney, the architects of the Iraq War, visit with the wounded. Yet the dead are buried without pictures of flag-draped coffins coming off the planes in Dover, Del. I guess we must keep the reality component at bay. What is The Washington Times saying? Are the perpetrators the heroes? Can we look forward to photos of the late Jeffrey Dahmer serving dinner to the men he ultimately murdered?
