Jason Crawford was named account supervisor at the D.C. office of Environics Communications Inc., a Stamford, Conn., public relations agency.


Robert Johnston was named chairman of the Large Public Power Council, an Alexandria organization representing the nation’s largest publicly owned energy systems. Mr. Johnston will continue to serve as president and chief executive officer of MEAG Power, an Atlanta energy company. Jorge Carrasco was named vice chairman of the council. Mr. Carrasco will continue to serve as superintendent of Seattle City Light, an energy company.

Diane Powers was named vice president of professional development at the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors in Falls Church. She co-founded Ansal Strategies, a D.C. management consulting firm.


Charles Weeks was named vice president of safety and human resources at the Woodbridge, Va., office of Fru-Con Construction Corp., a St. Louis construction company. Mr. Weeks previously was vice president of personnel and safety for H.E. Sargent Inc., a former Fru-Con subsidiary.


• Rockville mortgage lender Mason Dixon Funding named Dave Conway chief financial officer. Mr. Conway previously served as CFO of Fidelity & Trust Mortgage of Bethesda. Laurent Berman was named vice president of construction development. He previously worked as vice president at 1st American Mortgage of the District. Will Zamula was named secondary marketing manager. He previously worked as a pricing coordinator at MDF Mortgage, a California mortgage company. Mason Dixon also named Mario Gomez pricing coordinator.

Patrick Price was named senior tax manager and Ahmed Sidee was named associate at Goodman & Company LLP, a Rockville accounting firm.


Mark Vyrros was named contracts and projects manager at the Maslow Media Group, a D.C. media production company. Mr. Vyrros previously worked in the Department of Homeland Security’s office of public affairs.

• Herndon information technology company Vista Technology Services Inc. named Hal McDonald program director. Mr. McDonald previously served as a senior program analyst for the U.S. Army.

Roger Duke was named senior vice president of contracts at QinetiQ North America, a McLean information technology company. He previously worked as vice president of contracts at Raytheon Technical Services Co., a Massachusetts information technology company.


• The Sentinel HS Group, a Vienna, Va., homeland security consulting company, named Kevin McAleenan vice president. He previously worked for Los Angeles International Airport.


Jon Olmstead was promoted from adviser to principal at the D.C. office of CresaPartners LLC, a Boston real estate advisory company.
