By Jessica Lazzara, age 14

Since the day I laid eyes on you

We had to be together

I just knew

I loved your eyes

The way they sparkled in the light

It’s cute how you’re scared

Of the sounds in the night

What I am trying to say is

I want you in my life

Will you marry me?

And be my wife?
