Winchester Homes is building single-family homes on 8,500- to 14,200-square-foot sites at Clarksburg Village in Clarksburg, a planned community with a swimming pool, community center, ballpark, tot lots and jogging paths. Plans call for a retail park and elementary schools.

Each home in this Montgomery County community will include a brick front, stoop and front walk; professional landscaping; and a two-car garage.

Inside, all four models feature four bedrooms; 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 baths; hardwood flooring in the foyer; ceramic tile flooring in the powder room; oak stairs; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch maple cabinets in the center-island kitchen; a luxury master bath with ceramic tile flooring; a high-tech wiring system; a rough-in for a lower-level bath; a security system; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes have about 2,722 to 3,513 finished square feet, with base prices from $595,000 to $675,000. Homeowner association fees are $74 per month.

The Garrett model, with 3,513 square feet, is priced from $675,000 and has a two-story foyer with columns framing the entrance into the dining room. Across the foyer is the formal living room.

At the back of the home are a study, a powder room and a two-story family room with three walls of windows. The adjacent center-island kitchen and breakfast area have a built-in desk and a walk-in pantry. A laundry room is nearby.

Upstairs, the master suite has a separate sitting room, two walk-in closets and a luxury bath. The second bedroom has a private bath, while two additional bedrooms share a connecting bath.

Options include finished lower levels, sunrooms and covered porches.
