NVHomes is building 24 single-family homes on 6,000- to 7,500-square-foot sites at Gibson’s Grant in Chester, a community with a swimming pool, clubhouse, fitness center, walking trails and community pier.

These homes on Queen Anne’s County’s Kent Island include fiber cement siding with a brick foundation and stoop, landscaping and a two-car garage.

All three models have four bedrooms; two or three baths and a half-bath with ceramic tile floors; hardwood flooring in the foyer and powder room; 9-foot ceilings on the main and upper level; a Colonial-style trim package; 42-inch oak or maple-honey cabinets, granite counters and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; dual-zone heating and cooling; and gas heat and hot water.

The Bartholomew model, with 2,864 square feet and priced from $499,990, has a foyer with columns defining the dining room and the living room. A waterfall staircase leads from the central hall to the second level.

The main level includes a study, powder room and butler’s pantry. At the back are a family room with fireplace, a breakfast area and the center-island kitchen. The upper level has the master suite with a walk-in closet, three bedrooms, a second bath and a laundry room. Options include bonus rooms and extensions, porches and bay windows.
