Paul Erickson was appointed deputy public printer of the U.S. Government Printing Office. Mr. Erickson will oversee the agency’s printing, printing procurement, customer services, publication sales and information dissemination operations for the U.S. Congress, federal agencies and the American public. He will also oversee the agency’s security and intelligent documents unit, which produces the nation’s passports. Mr. Erickson previously worked Polestar Sheffield, a printing company in Sheffield, England, as managing director.


Carol A. Hitselberger will relocate to Mayer Brown’s Charlotte office where she will lead the local finance team. Ms. Hitselberger, who is moving from the firm’s Chicago office, is a partner in the finance practice specializing in the securitization and structured financial products area.

Steven Cravath joined Reed Smith as a partner in the financial industry group in the D.C. office. Mr. Cravath was formerly general counsel for ProFunds Group, sponsor of both registered and exchange-traded investment products.


Rick Rolandi joined Vovici, the online feedback management company for Enterprise Feedback Management, as chief financial officer. Mr. Rolandi will be responsible for overseeing Vovici’s financial strategy, including capital structuring and profit improvement. Prior to joining Vovici, Mr. Rolandi served as chief financial officer of Softek Storage Solutions Corp., a provider of data migration software.

Diann McCoy joined Acquisition Solutions, Inc., a company that helps federal agencies improve acquisition outcomes. Ms. McCoy recently retired from the Defense Information Systems Agency after more than 36 years of federal service. She also held executive positions at the Office of the Secretary of Defense and the Air Force.


Thomas Aiello is the new chairman of the board and chief executive officer of the Carl M. Freeman Companies, a real estate company based in Olney, Md. Prior to this appointment, he has served as a member of the company’s board of directors and is a long-term consultant and business adviser to the company and its former CEO, Joshua M. Freeman. He most recently served as the managing director with Alvarez & Marsal Taxand, LLC, where he counseled clients on income tax and business matters that have an impact on their business operations.
