Columbus 5, Toledo 4 (Sun.): Collin Balester (7-3, 4.18) won for the visiting Clippers, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks with five strikeouts in five innings.

Bowie 5, Harrisburg 4 (Sun.): Roger Bernadina (.349) went 2-for-4 with his fourth and fifth home runs in the Senators’ road loss.

Potomac 5, Winston-Salem 3: Ross Detwiler (4-3, 5.76) struck out two and allowed just four hits in five innings in the Nationals’ home win.

Hagerstown 6, Lakewood 3:Catcher Sean Rooney (.343) went 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBI as the Suns beat the visiting BlueClaws. Rooney has hit safely in four straight games, collecting seven RBI during that stretch.
