Conservative college women - 11:30 a.m. - Countercultural college women from some of the nation’s top universities will gather for the third annual Network of enlightened Women (NeW) National Conference. The group has been called “a campus alternative to the Feminist Majority and the National Organization of Women.” Danielle Crittenden, author of “What Our Mothers Didn’t Tell Us: Why Happiness Eludes the Modern Woman,” will deliver the keynote address. NeW President Karin Agness will officially launch the NeW blog to provide the perspective of culturally conservative young women on current issues, ideas and pop culture.
