What part of Sept. 11 did Bruce Fein miss?

In “No profile in courage” (Commentary, Tuesday) he takes Sen. Barack Obama to task for not wanting to pursue the Bush administration for violating the Constitution if he is elected president.

Recently, I visited the Newseum in Washington and was reminded by the Sept. 11 exhibit what this war is all about. We are at war with an enemy that wants to destroy us - Democrat or Republican, black or white, it does not matter.

Our enemies do not believe in the Geneva Convention; they just want to kill us. Waterboarding; give me a break. When the Nazi saboteurs landed on our shores on June 13, 1942, they were arrested, tried in July and hanged in August of the same year. We never had the American Civil Liberties Union filling a lawsuit that their rights were violated. We persevered and won the war.
