First baseman Larry Broadway (.240) went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the Clippers’ road win. Right fielder Kory Casto (.315) and second baseman Pete Orr (.276) also drove in runs. Garrett Mock (3-2, 3.06) struck out four in 5 2/3 innings to get the victory.

Andrew Lefave (.252) singled home the go-ahead run in the ninth to cap a five-run inning in the Senators’ road victory. Mike Daniel (.312) hit his fifth home run and Garrett Guzman (.227) his second.

Adrian Alaniz (8-0, 2.43) struck out five batters to earn the shutout win for the Nationals on the road. Left fielder Dee Brown (.250) drove in the only run on a groundout in the seventh.

Third baseman Stephen King (.340) and catcher Sean Rooney (.310) each drove in two runs in the Suns’ road loss.
